Class certainly improved Clancy's behavior-he pays more attention to me, is better at dealing with other dogs, and can sit/stay for up to 20 seconds. We have a fabulous 18 month old German Shepherd, Sam, who was in great need of training. We signed up for Curt's group obedience class hoping to leave with some basic obedience and we left with a new dog. Curt is a personable and highly knowledgeable trainer. He answered all of my questions, did a lot of hands on training, and offered many useful tips which made a huge difference with my demanding puppy. His synopsis which he emailed to me reminded me of some of the pearls I had forgotten.

I found my session wiith Curt and our dog, Cooper, very helpful. He addressed every concern_ _ _ _ _ with our puppy and gave us simple exercises to practice_ _ _.
He was very flexible, great at following up, and very knowledgeable. I appreciate that he looks from the standpoint of what you _ _ _ find appropriate_ _ _ _ not just how trainers think things should be. He then is able to bridge between what you want and how to have_ _ _ _ a well behaved dog that is pleasant to have around.
His follow-up email was really helpful in practicing things in the future. I don't feel he left without answering my questions_ _ _ and I now have some great tools for better training my dog. With Curt's guidance I am going to be a better owner as I will be helping my dog form good habits rather than unknowingly teach him things that are counterproductive. Even in just a few days I am noticing a difference in how Cooper responds to me by using suggestions that Curt made.
